Plot Synopsis

Off the success of CATS 101 and DOGS 101, Animal Planet uses this series to focus on the other critters people share their lives and homes with. Some simply lounge around the house while others spin the days away on exercise wheels. Using a mix of animal experts and pop-culture footage, PETS 101 identifies which pets are best for urban living and which ones are the most family friendly while sharing light and quirky stories about these warm, fuzzy, chatty, elegant, inquisitive and cuddly creatures. Animal Planet premiered this series with back-to-back one-hour episodes in December 2010, and then aired a second set of back-to-back one-hour episodes in December 2011.
