Plot Synopsis

Hosted and executive produced by former Playboy Bunny Holly Madison, THE PLAYBOY MURDERS is a one-hour documentary series that chronicles murders and mysteries that intersect with the world of Playboy. In the premiere episode, "Bunny Meets Bachelor," a Playboy party hostess and model is found dead and dismembered in a dumpster after a party, igniting a tabloid media frenzy. As police investigate her romantic partners, Jasmine Fiore's husband, a VH1 reality star, heads for the Canadian border. Additional stories featured include Stacy Arthur, the middle-American mom who spent hours on Playboy's premium 1-900 number, attracting one fan's fatal obsession; the Playboy Club romance of Carole Gold and husband Charles that puts a Bunny behind bars; former Playboy cyber girl Christina Carlin-Kraft whose promising future is dashed after a night out on the town; and more.

Season 2 of THE PLAYBOY MURDERS premiered on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. The seven-episode new season kicks off with the story of Sandy Bentley, who alongside her identical twin sister was a former live-in girlfriend of Hugh Hefner's and rose to fame as one of "The Bentley Twins" - until her stardom became shrouded in suspicions of foul play. Other cases include: the iconic story of Dorothy Stratten, one of the first Playboy Playmates poised for superstardom but whose life was cut short by a jealous estranged husband; Laurie Bambenek, a Bunny turned prison escapee; Victoria Vetri, who after her friend Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson family, went down a violent murderous path of her own; Paula Sladewksi, an aspiring model whose life took a chaotic and deadly turn after an appearance in a Playboy video; and Melonie Haller, a young actress and Playboy model with a near-death experience that propelled her into a quest for justice to expose the sexually violent culture among the rich and powerful.

Jill Ann Spaulding dreams of becoming a Playboy model; however, when she arrives at the mansion, she discovers that fantasy and reality are vastly different; shunned by Hef, Jill writes a tell-all book.
