Plot Synopsis

THE PLAYING CARD KILLER is a three-episode documentary series that tracks a notorious serial killer who terrorized Spain in 2003. After a series of murders spark terror in Madrid, authorities search for a suspect while one detail seems to connect the crimes: a deck of playing cards. The police works against the clock to avoid another murder. A survivor offers testimony that helps shape a portrait of the killer that isn't expected. As the trial begins, the media pushes for a resolution to be found, but new testimonies and evidence spark contradicting theories about the case.
