Plot Synopsis

Based on the political podcast of the same name, POD SAVE AMERICA is a series of four one-hour specials from the campaign trail for the 2018 midterm elections. All former aides of President Barack Obama, the four hosts -- former speechwriters Jon Favreau and Jon Lovett, former Senior Advisor Dan Pfeiffer, and former National Security Spokesperson Tommy Vietor -- are joined by journalists, politicians and activists for a freewheeling conversation about politics, the press and the challenges posed by the Trump presidency. POD SAVE AMERICA is taped the same day in front of live audiences in: Miami, FL (Oct. 12) with Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum; Austin, TX (Oct. 19); Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 26); and Irvine, CA (Nov. 2).
