Plot Synopsis
POWER is a one-hour scripted drama series that tells the story of James 'Ghost' St. Patrick, who straddles two different worlds -- the glamorous NYC club scene and the brutal drug trade. Ghost has it all: a beautiful wife, Tasha, who is also his confidant and willing accomplice; a gorgeous Manhattan penthouse; and Truth, which is the hottest, up-and-coming new NYC nightclub. His club caters to the elite -- both the famous and the infamous -- and as its success continues, he plans to build an empire with Tommy Egan, his childhood best friend and business partner. However, Truth hides an ugly lie. The club is a front for Ghost's criminal underworld, a lucrative drug network that serves only the wealthy and powerful. But when Ghost is seduced by the prospect of a legitimate life, everything precious to him becomes unknowingly threatened, especially when Angela Valdes, his old flame, unexpectedly reenters his life. Executive produced by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, POWER was filmed on location in and around New York, making the city itself a major player in the story.
The sophomore season of POWER -- which premiered on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz -- begins with James 'Ghost' St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and dream of a legitimate future. Ghost's work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love, Angela, who's also an AUSA investigating his drug organization. Ghost is set further back from his dream by his business partner Tommy who loves the drug game, and his former mentor, Kanan, fresh out of jail, and looking for revenge. Ghost in a race against himself: Can he get out of the drug game alive before Angela discovers who he is?

But just as they begin to believe James' past criminal persona of 'Ghost' may finally be behind them, both are forced to face the consequences of running from a life from which no one gets away clean. James' estranged best friend Tommy has just reunited with his newly returned love, Holly, but he must attempt to not only rebuild Lobos' devastated drug organization, but to kill Ghost -- turning brother against brother. He's on the verge of having everything he's ever wanted, but will this new phase of James St. Patrick's life end before it begins with old sins and the specter of 'Ghost' coming back to haunt him? Be careful what you wish for.
