For its inaugural season, the series brings together 14 of the world's fiercest queens, as they vie for the title of "Queen of the Universe" and a cash prize of $250,000. QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE made its linear television debut on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on VH1. On Friday, June 23, 2023, Paramount+ released the final four episodes of Season 2. The queens are pushed out of their comfort zones when they are asked not only deliver out of this world vocals but sickening dance breaks that are good enough to impress both the Pop Diva Panel and the drag loving studio audience. Then, the queens must bare all and give stripped down performances and a look that incorporates nude illusion; the fate of one contestant hangs in the balance as a medical emergency threatens to derail their placement in the competition. Next, the semi-finals find the top four queens paired with one member of the Pop Diva Panel to help guide and mentor them before their next performance. Finally, the grand finale has arrived as the top three queens must perform their personal queer anthem as well as a showstopper number. Who will come out on top to be crowned "Queen of the Universe" and win the life-changing cash prize of $250,000?
