Plot Synopsis

RACHEL HUNTER'S TOUR OF BEAUTY is a half-hour series that follows international supermodel Rachel Hunter on a global odyssey to discover the indigenous beauty secrets of diverse cultures. Over the course of 13 episodes, Rachel takes viewers around the world to uncover how different cultures embrace, celebrate and define beauty. Highlights from the episodes include visits to France (where Rachel explains the benefits of drinking red wine), Korea (for a traditional face shaping massage), Greece (unlocking the key to a long life), Dubai (where Rachel discovers the health benefits of camel milk and dates and one of the world most expensive facial treatments), Australia (for a DNA test designed to reveal skin genetics), China (behind the ancient secrets of Chinese medicine and teas), India (beauty remedies passed down through generations), Morocco (the health benefits of Moroccan cuisine), Fiji (where a forest is the pharmacy), Japan (for Sake bathing), Brazil (where everyone is comfortable in a bikini) , Mexico (Mayan beauty secrets) and USA (Los Angeles' health and beauty solutions). Ovation aired the U.S. premiere of RACHEL HUNTER'S TOUR OF BEAUTY on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

Ovation premiered the second season of RACHEL HUNTER'S TOUR OF BEAUTY on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10pm ET/7pm PT, with back-to-back episodes. In Season 2, Rachel embarks on a search for the secrets to lasting beauty and a complete sense of well-being through the Americas. From the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Peru to the body-conscious beaches of Miami, from a Rastafari village in the heart of Jamaica to the fashion capital of New York City, she'll explore landscapes as varied and diverse as the people and cultures that inhabit it. Season 2 opens with these two episodes:

"New York" (Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10pm ET): Rachel returns to New York, where her modeling career began, to see if beauty industry standards and body ideals have changed; Rachel meets the head of a modeling agency.

"Jamaica" (Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10:30pm ET): Rachel visits a Rastafarian village in Jamaica to learn the secrets of the Rastafari; Rachel meets a group of young male models in Kingston.
