Plot Synopsis

Meghan McCain, daughter of United States Senator John McCain, hosts RAISING MCCAIN, a half-hour hybrid talk/reality series. Meghan explores today's pressing questions by going on location to interact with guests, including interviews with people on the street and discussions with her family, friends, and roundtable participants like Ana Kasparian and Melanie Berliet. For this series, which she has described as MEET THE PRESS meets JACKASS, Meghan has visited locations like Columbia University and Oficina Latina to explore topics ranging from bullying and feminism and from sex overload to the death of romance. Pivot ordered ten episodes, and Meghan, also an executive producer of this series, had wrapped filming the first eight installments between May 22 and July 24, 2013.
