Plot Synopsis

Based on "Killing Floor", Lee Child's 1997 debut "Jack Reacher" novel, REACHER follows Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator who has just recently entered civilian life. Reacher is a drifter, carrying no phone and the barest of essentials as he travels the country and explores the nation he once served. When Reacher arrives in the small town of Margrave, Georgia, he finds a community grappling with its first homicide in 20 years. The cops immediately arrest him and eyewitnesses claim to place Reacher at the scene of the crime. While he works to prove his innocence, a deep-seated conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will require Reacher's keen mind and hard-hitting fists to deal with. One thing above all is for sure: They picked the wrong guy to take the fall. The entire eight-episode first season of REACHER dropped on Friday, February 4, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.

The eight-episode sophomore season of REACHER premiered on Friday, December 15, 2023 on Prime Video, which released the first three episodes of the new season. A new installment dropped weekly through January 19. Season 2 -- based on "Bad Luck and Trouble," the 11th book in Lee Child's book series -- begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one. Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley; Karla Dixon, a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O'Donnell. Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them - and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit.
