Plot Synopsis
In each quarter-hour episode of READY JET COOK, Jet Tila shares his favorite go-to recipes and shops at his family's grocery store. READY JET COOK made its linear television debut on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Noon ET/PT on Food Network, with half-hour episodes. Each 30-minute installment features two online episodes combined into a single program. In the first episode, "Chinese Takeout," Chef Jet Tila cooks up two classic Chinese takeout dishes. He kicks it off with a crispy and sweet Orange Chicken with a fluffy Fried Rice. Then, he uses his air fryer to make Char Siu Bao, a dim sum classic that stuffs savory roasted pork inside a fluffy steamed bun.
READY JET COOK returned for a second season of half-hour episodes on linear television, beginning Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Noon ET/PT on Food Network. In the season opener, "Easy Comfort Classics," Chef Jet Tila cooks up some easy comfort classics. He kicks things off with one of his favorite dishes that is deceptively simple -- Lo Mein. Then, Jet heads to a local market to pick out the perfect pineapple for Pineapple Fried Rice.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Noon ET/PT, Food Network premiered "Irresistible Chicken Dishes," the Season 2 finale of READY JET COOK. Chicken gets a bad rap as boring or bland, but Chef Jet Tila's chicken recipes are savory, unctuous and sticky. He whips up two world-famous chicken dishes that prove just how delicious chicken can be, starting with mouthwatering Thai BBQ Chicken paired with Papaya Salad. Then, Jet moves on to what is considered Taiwan's national dish -- Three Cup Chicken.
