Plot Synopsis

Created and directed by Yanyong Kuruangkura, READY, SET, LOVE is a one-hour romantic dramedy series that centers on Day, an unassuming woman, who becomes a contender in a government-sponsored dating competition called "Ready, Set, Love." Though hesitant, she plunges in and crosses paths with Son, one of the five bachelors, leading to true love with a twist in this alternate reality, where women significantly outnumber men, and men are considered "national treasures." The series also hides a layer of mystery and conspiracy, while exploring topics such as freedom and feminism. All six episodes of READY, SET, LOVE dropped on Thursday, February 15, 2024 on Netflix.
