Plot Synopsis

Inspired by her blog of the same name, REAL GIRL'S KITCHEN follows host Haylie Duff as she reveals recipes from her own kitchen and takes culinary adventures throughout Los Angeles, where she lives, and New York, where she always finds inspiration. Cooking Channel aired the television premiere of this series on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2pm ET. In the TV premiere, "Mali-Booyah!," Haylie retreats to Mailbu for some much needed R&R with her sister Hilary and friends, where the girls begin their weekend with cooking green smoothies and salads and then head to the beach to indulge in pizza, wine, and a bonfire banana boat dessert.

REAL GIRL'S KITCHEN returned for its second season on Cooking Channel on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1pm ET. In the season opener, "Let Mama Eat Cake," Haylie and her sister love to pull fast ones over on their mom, Susan Duff. And this year, the joke revolves around "Mama Suz's" birthday dinner, with Suz thinking that Haylie won't be able to attend. Little does Suz know, Haylie actually has the evening planned out to a T: a perfect Spanish themed feast, right down to a home made Dulce de Leche cake with Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman. To catch her mother off guard, Haylie and Suz cook a stellar birthday breakfast of Farro Cakes and Strawberry Crostinis. Operation: Delicious Birthday Surprise is in full swing!
