Plot Synopsis

REHAB ADDICT LAKE HOUSE RESCUE is a three-episode special REHAB ADDICT series that follows Nicole Curtis as she returns to her Lake Orion, MI, hometown to finish the massive renovation of a historic waterfront cottage -- a charming 1904 property that she loved at first sight and saved from impending demolition. Now seven years later, she completes the project - the most difficult, expensive and complicated of her career -- to create a stunning lakeside retreat for her family. The premiere episode opens with Nicole recapping the beginning of the reno when she took the house down to the studs, brought it up to code and added a new first floor. To re-start the overhaul, she will tackle the exterior with fresh paint, landscaping, windows and porches. As the series continues, Nicole also designs a kid-friendly bedroom using a salvaged wooden boat to create bunk beds, as well as adding a custom staircase and a top floor main suite with a spectacular view. Episodes include:

"The Little Lake Cottage" (Thursday, November 3, 2022): This summer, Nicole is completing the historic lake cottage she rescued from destruction almost a decade ago. The team starts with beautifying the exterior which includes the roof, siding, porches, landscaping and a one-of-a-kind kids tree fort.

"Old Parts Are the Best Parts" (Thursday, November 10, 2022): Nicole turns her attention to the inside of the cottage and transforms the top floor into her own personal retreat complete with a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. She also creates an amazing kids room with a feature that must be seen to be believed.

"New Construction Blues" (Thursday, November 17, 2022): Nicole lifted her tiny lake cottage into the air and built a brand new first floor and basement underneath. Now, the final challenge is to fill these new spaces with the historic details she loves, a task that could either make or break the project.
