Plot Synopsis
REMODELED follows modeling-industry legend Paul Fisher, who runs a new business venture named The Network, as he and his team travel around the world to recruit small agencies, bring them into his new company, and make over their offices -- all while empowering models to take control of their careers and lead healthier lives. During the heyday of the supermodel era in the 1980s and early 1990s, Fisher earned his reputation as a star-maker through his uncanny ability to spot the potential superstar in a group of inexperienced young models. Fisher represented some of the world's biggest models during his career, including Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Carol Alt, Carla Bruni, Brooke Burke, Kimora Lee Simmons and Carre Otis. Now, The Network empowers him to change the industry from the inside out by making over the offices of the agencies that join The Network, working with the owners and their staff members to find a true star in each market, and teaching these agents to hold onto the stars they create. Plus, Fisher and his team work with the models and their parents from the beginning, making sure they show up on time at casting sessions, giving them the news of whether they did or didn't get the job, helping them through their first photo shoots and runway shows, and even talking to the girls' parents and school principals to make sure the models stay in school and keep their grades up while pursuing their careers. Fisher does have a strong support system from his own loyal staffers: his assistant Joseph Villanueva, who is always at his side to handle his schedule, travel logistics and anything else that comes up; and his second-in-command Olga Tavarez, Vice President of The Network and experienced agent, who is entrusted with finding and developing new talent, guiding the models through makeovers, go-sees, photo shoots, as well as runway shows at Fashion Week and beyond.
