Plot Synopsis

An anniversary trip puts a marriage to the test when a Emma and Noah find themselves embroiled in one of Yucatan's most bizarre unsolved mysteries. Emma is a high school teacher at a plateau in her monotonous marriage with Noah, who is also a teacher. But unlike Emma, Noah seems perfectly content floating through the mundane reality of his existence. They're celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary with a trip to Mexico, where they're pulled into this mystery together when Emma finds an old phone in the jungle. The couple seeks answers about Sam and Violet's disappearance 15 years earlier, leading them to a powerful family. The first three episodes of THE RESORT dropped on Thursday, July 28, 2022 on Peacock, with a new episode debuting each Thursday through September 1. THE RESORT made its linear television debut on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on NBC.
