Plot Synopsis

Real-estate specialist Jason Abrams and his business partner, Kristen Cook, buy and sell homes for his pro athlete clients from the National Football League (NFL) and National Basketball Association (NBA). In each 30-minute episode, Jason and Kristen help one or two players, including: NFL star Clinton Portis, who is looking for a condominium in Miami with a killer view under $3 million so he can spend his downtime in the sun; NFL champ Cato June, who wants to find his family a luxury New York city apartment under $10 million; NFL pro Adewale Ogunleye, who seeks a Miami beach stand-alone home that's worth less than $5 million; NBA star Jordan Farmar, who is looking for a short term lease in New Jersey for the season; NFL pro Vontae Davis, who wants to sell his Miami home that was recently renovated by his brother and fellow player, Vernon Davis; NFL pro Derrick Morgan, who is selling the modern Nashville home he bought when he was first drafted and is looking for a $6,000-a-month rental that offers more privacy; NFL standout Joe Haden and his family, who is selling their estate so they can move closer to an athletic training facility they're opening in Maryland, NBA star Greivis Vasquez, who is hunting for sleek three bedroom place in New Orleans; and many more pro athletes.
SCORING THE DEAL returned for its second season on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT, as HGTV aired back-to-back new episodes.
