Plot Synopsis

Known as a playground for the rich and famous, Aspen is one of the country's most expensive zip codes. However, not everyone living in this small town can afford to live the lavish lifestyle. Aspen is made up of haves and have-nots where friction commonly occurs between the two. This series follows six dynamic ladies on their quest to find love, pay the rent, and stay friends over the course of one summer season. These ladies are: Brooke, a former beauty queen and the ultimate Aspen insider who hears the ugly rumors around town about how she earns her money; Erin, a South Beach socialite who is out of place during the day but the life of Aspen society and nightlife; Kat, a former flight attendant who is a social butterfly at night and works multiple jobs during the day, including a masseuse, just to make ends meet; Laura, twice divorced and a mother of two, is the social scene's Queen Bee who migrates to Aspen from her off-season home in Newport Beach, California; Shana, a successful businesswoman in the diamond jewelry business and an Aspen veteran for 18 years, is part of society's upper crust; and Star, who is new to Aspen, newly single, and definitely having a hard time paying the bills -- she's sharing an apartment with Kat.
