Plot Synopsis
Using re-enactments and first-person interviews, SHADOW OF DOUBT is a one-hour series that chronicles horrific true-crime stories from across the United States. Each one-hour episode features a different tale, including those about: Heather Rich, a popular 16-year-old high school cheerleader from a rural Oklahoma town, who slips out her bedroom window after having a few angry words with her mother -- but is never seen alive again; a soldier, who comes home with his five-year-old son and finds his wife, an Army Officer stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, brutally stabbed to death; and Greg Knighten, who was searching for a human sacrifice for a Satanic ritual -- and George Raffield, an undercover cop posing as George Moore, is found dead. Season 2 of SHADOW OF DOUBT premiered on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "New Girl in Town," a 15-year-old goes missing after heading out into the park to take pictures. Two days later, police find her badly beaten body and a clue that leads back to her high school.
