Plot Synopsis

STAY OR SELL is a one-hour reality series that follows Brad and Heather Fox, as the Edina husband-and-wife team helps homeowners in the Twin Cities. Broker Brad finds new homes, while designer Heather renovates their clients' current home. In the end, will their clients stay or sell? On Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Twin Cities Trouble," Brian and Liza Hill are parents of a growing family in the St. Louis Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, and although they love their little rambler house, they're feeling cramped in its two bedrooms and one bathroom. Brad and Heather step in to renovate the family's existing house to make it bigger, but certain restrictions keep them from fully meeting the couple's wish list. So Brad and Heather present another option to Brian and Liza that requires a leap of faith on a 1940s rambler around the block.

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV debuted the official series premiere of STAY OR SELL. In the series opener, "Families Grow, Houses Shrink," as their kids get bigger, a couple realizes they are outgrowing the house they have been in for 10 years. Brad and Heather help them choose between renovating their dated, cramped home or finding another home altogether. A successful renovation would have to expand the space, fix the choppy layout and incorporate a rustic midcentury modern style.

HGTV premiered the season finale of STAY OR SELL on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT. In the season eneder, "Newlyweds to Newly Remodeled," a newlywed couple wants to start a family, but feels their house is just too small. They do love its architectural design, though, and their neighborhood. Brad and Heather help them choose between staying put and renovating their home or starting from scratch.
