Plot Synopsis

Featuring first-person accounts of those who survived extreme weather disasters, STORM STORIES: THE NEXT CHAPTER reveals how these storms bring out the best in people. These incredible stories of bravery, fortitude, and ingenuity illustrate our compassion for one another in the face of nature's most violent storms. Each one-hour episode highlights two stories, with The Weather Channel on-camera meteorologist Jim Cantore serving as the narrator in this revival series, which is sometimes also called the 10th season of STORM STORIES.

Season 2 of STORM STORIES: THE NEXT CHAPTER premiered on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 8pm ET on The Weather Channel. In the season opener, "Tale of Two Mothers," police body cam footage captures the rescue of a mother and her four young children from Tropical Storm Imelda near Houston; a mother in a small town near Little Rock, Ark., tries in vain to save all nine of her children from an EF4 twister.
