Plot Synopsis

Based on Nathan W. Pyle's graphic novels of the same name and created by Pyle and Dan Harmon, STRANGE PLANET is a half-hour animated comedy series that's set in a whimsical world of cotton candy pinks and purples, where blue beings explore the absurdity of everyday human traditions. Guest voices include: Toks Olagundoye, James Adomian, D'Arcy Carden, Fortune Feimster, Riki Lindhome, Griffin Puatu, Nate Torrence, Gary Anthony Williams, Beth Stelling, Cedric Yarbrough, Tawny Newsome, Ken Leung, and more. The first three episodes of STRANGE PLANET dropped on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 on Apple TV+, which released a new episode weekly on Wednesdays through September 27. In the series opener, "The Flying Machine," a popular band splits up, throwing their lives -- and their fans' lives -- into chaos; elsewhere, an air comfort supervisor's new role creates turbulence.
