Plot Synopsis

Jerry Springer, the king of tabloid television, reveals the most bizarre and scandalous stories to grace the headlines of checkout-line magazines. Each 60-minute episode of TABLOID features two different mind-blowing stories, including: teenager Esmie Tseng, who coped with pressures from her parents in a particularly bloody way; The Bling Ring, a group of fashionable young thieves, who took center stage in the world of Hollywood's rich and famous; teenager Charles Hardemann, who was found near death, haunted by his attacker's mask; Gary 'Brazon' McMurtry, a famous female impersonators and reigning queen of Ms. Gay Ohio, who was killed by someone dressed as a ninja; Rose Turford and Joyce Stevens, who created a string of costumed cons, taking them places they never imagined; Amara Walters, who encountered a man with murder on his mind when he entered her house wearing a disguise; narcissistic nightclub owner Burt Pugach, who deceived his mistress and she ended up maimed for life; Emily Sander, who seemed like a sweet young woman but was actually living a dangerous double life; and many more people who made headlines.

TABLOID returned for its second season on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. The Season 2 premiere, "Law and Disorder," covers two stories: a police officer who takes the law into his own hands against a former girlfriend, ultimately leading to a shocking standoff; and from Utah, an eccentric rancher with a lion tests his employees' loyalties, leading to a horrific crime scene and an interstate manhunt.
