Plot Synopsis

TATTOO RESCUE, which probably should have been called TATTOO PARLOR RESCUE, follows Joe "Joey Tattoo" Germinario (a tattoer at Bella Arte Tattoo in New Jersey), Sammy the Builder, and a team of experts travel across the United States to transform failing tattoo studios into profitable ventures. Spike TV aired the one-hour pilot on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 10pm ET, which featured experts like Mario Rosenau from Art Junkies in Hesperia, CA, offering advice, tips and hints to the owner and artists at Just Deadly Tattoo Parlor in Whittier, CA. Nearly 10 months later, TATTOO RESCUE returned for its official series premiere on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT on Spike TV, as the duo tried to save a horror-themed tattoo shop in Georgia that is overrun by a biker gang.
