Plot Synopsis

Based on Carola Lovering's novel of the same name, TELL ME LIES is a 10-episode drama series that follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco meet at Baird College, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them. Executive produced by Emma Roberts, TELL ME LIES debuted on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, as Hulu released the first three episodes. A new installment dropped each Wednesday through October 26.

Season 2 of TELL ME LIES debuted on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 on Hulu which released the first two episodes. A new installment debuted weekly on Wednesdays through October 16. Season 2 picks up as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer. Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic - which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen's friend group, as the fallout from Season One impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.
