Directed by Colin Barnicle, THIS IS A ROBBERY: THE WORLD'S BIGGEST ART HEIST is a four-part documentary series that covers the leads, dead ends, lucky breaks and speculations that characterized the investigation of the biggest art heist in history. Over St. Patrick's Day weekend in 1990, two men dressed as cops con their way into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and steal a fortune in art, including legendary works by Rembrandt, Vermeer and others worth over half a billion dollars today. On Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire four-episode series.
