Plot Synopsis

Created by Andrew Koehler and Benjamin Martian with Blake Anderson as Executive Producer, TIGTONE is a quarter-hour animated series that follows the saga of Tigtone, a quest-addicted hero, who slashes his way through a satirical fantasy universe with melodramatic ferocity and a complete disregard for the collateral damage he inflicts along the way. The series both celebrates and subverts tropes of the fantasy genre, role playing games, video games, and films. TIGTONE combines highly rendered, hand-painted fantasy art, motion capture performance, 2D animation, and pseudo-3D visual effects. Special guest stars this season include Alan Oppenheimer, Gregg Turkington, John Waters, Fred Willard, and more. Adult Swim debuted the series pilot on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Midnight ET/PT, and eight months later aired the official series premiere on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from Midnight-12:30am ET/PT, showing back-to-back new episodes.

On Saturday, September 13, at 11:59pm ET/PT, adult swim premiered TIGTONE's second season, debuting back-to-back episodes. Nils Frykdahl reprises his role as Tigtone along with Debi Derryberry as Helpy. Returning voice cast members include Jeffrey Combs, Bill Corbett, Lucy Davis, Cree Summer, and Gary Anthony Williams. Featured guest stars this season include Maria Bamford, Phil LaMarr, and Gregg Turkington among others.
