Plot Synopsis

Written and produced by Ilana Glazer, Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs, TIME TRAVELING BONG is a three-episode limited series that centers on two cousins, Jeff and Sharee, who discover a time traveling bong and ride high as they blaze through time. These two mediocre cousins live together in New Jersey in a condo left to them by their grandmother. Their mundane lives take a twisted turn when they find a bong that also serves as a time machine, but their buzz is killed when the bong breaks and they're forced to bounce around the space-time continuum, learning to appreciate there's no time like the present. Jeff and Sharee's first foray in time travel lands them in colonial Salem, where the citizens accuse Sharee of witchcraft. Then, the duo experience caveman life, rescue slaves in the Antebellum South and face an ethical dilemma when they encounter a young Michael Jackson. In the series ender, they have a scarring experience at an ancient Greek orgy, and then find themselves trapped in the dystopian future. Comedy Central aired the series on three consecutive nights, premiering at 10:30pm ET/PT on 4/20 and continuing at the same time on 4/21 and 4/22.
