Plot Synopsis

TO CATCH A BEAUTICIAN is a half-hour reality series that follows Tamar Braxton and Johnny Wright, as they come to the rescue of clients whose hair has been botched by a beautician from their past. In a strategic sting operation, Braxton and Wright will help disgruntled customers confront the stylists who damaged their tresses. Wright will then put the beautician through a rigorous hair boot camp. Armed with new skills and techniques, the beauticians will now have a chance to redeem themselves by redoing their client's hair. Wright is First Lady Michelle Obama's former hair stylist.

On Monday, August 24, 2020 from 10-11pm ET/PT, VH1 premiered "Curls For My Bae-Cation; You Have Microwave Hair," the one-hour season finale of TO CATCH A BEAUTICIAN. Alyssa was getting ready for a trip to Fiji with her man when she found stylist Angelica, who botched her highlights and her curly hair; Nida was getting ready for a pink themed beauty event, but her stylist left her looking like a cartoon troll.
