Plot Synopsis

Each weeknight at 11:35pm ET/PT, host Jay Leno opens with a monologue lampooning current events and news, presents ongoing comedy segments, interviews celebrities, and welcomes comedians and musical acts to perform on THE TONIGHT SHOW stage. Leno's most popular comedy segments include: "Headlines," "Jaywalking," and "Battle of the Jaywalking All-Stars." In 2009, the show made history by being the first late-night show to host a sitting president when Leno welcomed President Barack Obama as a guest.
