Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Katie Daryl, 200 OF THE GREATEST SONGS OF THE 70S is a half-hour series that features experts and legends counting down the most iconic hits of the 1970s. The retrospective offers something for everyone, with an expansive roster that includes music by trailblazers such as Meat Loaf, Bruce Springsteen, and The Who, to Donna Summer, David Bowie, Chicago, and The Carpenters, among others. Each half-hour episode features 10 songs, with two installments debuting weekly, beginning Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Episodes include:

200-191 (Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 8pm ET/5pm PT): Rock experts like Rikki Rockett, Dee Snider, EG Daily, Chris Booker, and Shawn Stockman take viewers through the first 10 songs of the countdown -- from The Who to Donna Summer.

190-181 (Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT): Continuing the countdown, music experts like John 5, Jeff Timmons, and Shar Jackson cover everything from Bruce Springsteen to Meatloaf.

180-171 (Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 8pm ET/5pm PT): The countdown keeps going with music experts like Alice Cooper, Carnie Wilson, and Nita Strauss cover everything from ABBA to CCR.

170-161 (Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT): Music experts like Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rikki Rockett, and Shawn Stockman cover everything from Rush to Blondie.
