Plot Synopsis

Based on Jeffery Deaver's 2019 novel, "The Never Game," TRACKER is a one-hour drama series that follows lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw, who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family. In the series opener, "Klamath Falls," Colter's handlers, Velma and Teddi Bruin, send him to Klamath Falls, OR, to investigate the disappearance of 14-year-old Gil Brown who is suspected to have been taken by his birth dad with a criminal background. While pursuing a lead at a local burger joint based on intel from tech genius Bobby Exley, Colter finds himself in some trouble of his own requiring help from legal mind Reenie Greene. TRACKER premiered Sunday, February 11, 2024 on CBS, immediately after the post-game for SUPER BOWL LVIII (approximately 10pm ET/7pm PT). The series moved to its regular timeslot -- Sundays at 9pm -- the following week.

On Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT, CBS premiered the second season of TRACKER. Justin Hartley returns as Colter Shaw, a trusted lone-wolf survivalist who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to find the missing and collect rewards. Supported by lawyer Reenie Green, his business handler Velma Bruin and tech expert Bobby Exley, Colter stops at nothing to get the job done. In the season opener, "Out of the Past," while investigating the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car was found abandoned on the side of the road in the backwoods of Arkansas, Colter makes a shocking discovery about the mother's past that leads him into the world of organized crime. Also, Reenie opens up her new law firm and enlists Velma's help in setting up shop.
