Plot Synopsis

TROPICAL COP TALES is a quarter-hour, live-action comedy series that follows follows two burnt-out city cops -- Keymarion "Primetime" Weeyums and Demetrius "Meechie" Franks -- when they relocate to a tropical paradise for a relaxing twilight to their careers. Unfortunately, it is the most un-relaxing place on earth and their Captain is a champion shouter. In January 2018 the pilot of TROPICAL COP TALES debuted at Sundance Festival, with Charles Noland and Wayne Dehart playing the lead roles, and the pilot had its linear premiere on Adult Swim late night Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 12:30am ET/PT. Six months later, TROPICAL COP TALES had its official series premiere on Friday, February 1, 2019 from Midnight-12:30am ET/PT, as Adult Swim debuted back-to-back episodes:

"The How to Be a Tropical Cop Episode" (Midnight): Sandpaper-voiced Captain Solomon shows the Tropical Cops how to become Tropical Cops.

"The Scalp Collector" (12:15am): A mad cannibal tears scalps from the island's skulls, deep-fries them, and serves them as delicious cruditees.
