Plot Synopsis

TRUE TORI is a one-hour reality series that chronicles the life of Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, as they navigate the unknown road ahead, beginning when Dean leaves treatment for health and personal issues after he cheated on Tori with another woman. Instead of letting gossip magazines tell their version of her family life, Tori allows cameras to follow her to capture her real-life story, while she raises four children -- Liam (7), Stella (5), Hattie (2) and Finn (20 months) -- and deals with the emotional stress of her marriage. Meanwhile, Dean works hard to become, in his words, "the husband and father my family deserves." In TRUE TORI, viewers see events almost immediately after they occur, so nobody knows how the drama will unfold-- not even Tori or Dean -- and only time will tell if their marriage survives.

TRUE TORI returned for its second season on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, immediately following a marathon (2-8pm) of encore episodes from Season 1 and a brand-new one-hour special at 8pm ET/PT. Eight new episodes began filming September 11, 2014, following Tori in near real-time as she searches for honesty and happiness with Dean. As Tori attempts to move on following one of the most devastating chapters of her life, she is now focused on healing herself and dealing head-on with the issues that have plagued her for years. Cameras capture this raw, unfiltered journey as she addresses everything from her family relationships to her business ventures, all while juggling four kids and salvaging her marriage. While much of the chaos of last spring is seemingly behind her, there still exists a tremendous amount of work ahead for Tori as she struggles to find her true self.
