Plot Synopsis

This series of 15-minute specials follows boxers in the 48 hours before their fights, with cameras capturing fighters during final preparations, press conferences, the weigh-ins, and pre-fight dressing room pep talks. The premiere episode showed Brandon Rios' struggle to make weight in the lead-up to his bout with John Murray, where, despite his 11th-round TKO victory over Murray, Rios was stripped of his WBA title because he couldn't reach the 135-pound welterweight limit. Subsequent episodes followed: James Kirkland, a junior middleweight contender, who was preparing for his fight againt Alfredo Angulo; Nonito Donaire, as he got ready for the February 4, 2012 WBO super bantamweight title against Puerto Rico's Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.; Adrien Broner, who was prepping to defend his WBO super featherweight title against Eloy Perez; and many more boxers.
