Plot Synopsis
Based on Jang Yi's webtoon, "Amazing Rumor," THE UNCANNY COUNTER is a drama series that follows a group of noodle shop employees who are also demon hunters by night. These Counters use their special abilities to chase down malevolent spirits that prey on humans. The series opens with average high-schooler So Moon getting a taste of the afterlife when he's struck be a strange burst of light on his birthday. He finds answers inside the local noodle shop, where he's asked to join the Counters, becoming the newest recruit on a team of soul-collecting demon hunters. Netflix released the first episode of THE UNCANNY COUNTER on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10am ET/7am PT. New installments debuted Saturdays and Sundays through January 24, 2021.

Season 2 of THE UNCANNY COUNTER debuted on Saturday, July 29, 2023 on Netflix, with a new installment debuting each Saturday and Sunday. Armed with new powers and fresh recruits, the Counters continue their battle against evil demons who feed on humans. Meanwhile, trouble starts brewing in a remote mansion in China.
