Plot Synopsis
Jeffrey Saad, a contestant on Season 5 of THE NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR, travels across the nation to explore the history, science, diversity and significance of American iconic favorites, like pizza, burgers, hot dogs and donuts. Plus, Jeffrey takes a look at how today's hottest chefs are reinterpreting them in unexpected ways, including pizza with spicy Indian toppings, cheeseburgers made from deep-fried sushi rolls, Mexican-influenced hot dogs, and bacon-infused donuts.
