The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan. In the series opener, "L'ame Perdue," Daryl's arrival to France sets off a violent chain of events that inadvertently puts a young boy at the heart of a growing religious movement in danger. Daryl agrees to help shepherd the boy to safety in exchange for help returning to America. THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON premiered on Sunday, September 10, 2023 on AMC, with a simulcast on BBC America, SundanceTV, IFC, and WE tv. A sneak peek of the episode dropped on AMC+ three days earlier on Thursday, September 7.

They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest. Additionally, Genet's movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France's future.
