Plot Synopsis

WATERFRONT HOUSE HUNTING is a half-hour reality series that follows a real estate expert, who helps people find a new home in a more desirable, waterfront location that better suits their lifestyle. From homes on the Gulf Shore of Alabama to Lake Havasu in Arizona and California's Ventura Beach, the expert unearths one-of-a-kind properties with an enviable view worth moving for. Each half-hour episode features a family or couple in different parts of the world looking for a new home with one requirement in common: close proximity to the water. Nick Waldner hosted the first season. In the series opener, "Ventura Beachside Bliss," Aaron and Crystal are looking for a forever home for their growing family. With a baby on the way, and a toddler in tow, they need to find a house quickly. Priority number one for this family is being as close to the water as possible, so they can make lifelong memories beachside. Season 2 of WATERFRONT HOUSE HUNTING premiered on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on FYI, with a new host: Seth Stisher. In the season opener, "Stunning St. Thomas Houseboats," Todd and Sarah are an adventurous couple looking for a home in Peterborg, St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. The snazzy couple has left the snowy Pennsylvania winters to enjoy a lifestyle of full-time sunshine. Sarah wants a home with beautiful water views no matter what the cost, while Todd prefers to live right on the water -- on a houseboat! This couple not only has trouble debating the various homes Peterborg offers, but they also butt heads on the type of lifestyle they want to live. Sarah, Todd and their puppy Burt can't wait to embark on this island adventure and purchase a permanent piece of Caribbean heaven.

Season 3 of WATERFRONT HOUSE HUNTING premiered on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as FYI debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Rustic Seaside Retreats in Maine" (9pm): Malcolm, Jillian and their two adorable daughters are looking for a coastal home in Rockland, Maine that won't break the bank. They want their new home to be filled with character and have a proper kitchen where chef Malcolm can prepare family dinners. Malcolm and Jillian hope to find a waterfront home where they can share their love of the water with their daughters and incorporate it into their everyday lives.

"Coastal St. Croix Masterpieces" (9:30pm): Chris and Renee recently moved to Christiansted, St Croix in the US Virgin Islands, with dreams of living the waterfront life. Wanting to escape the dreadful Midwest winters and having jobs that allow them to work from anywhere, they thought "Why not?!" Renee is looking for a house with plenty of room for visiting friends and family, while Chris wants to make sure that their new home has land for their dogs to roam, plus amazing views. But they'll have to make it all work within their budget. Hopefully Seth can come to the rescue and help them find the perfect tropical pad!
