Plot Synopsis

Hosts Kevin Moore and Grant Reynolds analyze fail videos of engineering masterpieces from every possible angle, and then head off to their top-secret test facility to experiment and figure out how to make everything go smoothly this time. In each episode Kevin and Grant dive deep into a new video of a great plan gone wrong -- from people fishing with live grenades to guys loading a car into a U-Haul van with just a couple planks of wood. Part ultimate fail video, part life saving tips and a bit of good ol' science thrown in, Kevin and Grant figure out how it all went wrong and what do to make it right. On Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? premiered on Science Channel with a special simulcast on Discovery. In the series opener, "Trash Can Rocketeers," Kevin and Grant push the physics of flight to build the ultimate Trash Can Rocket! TV parts, the sun's power and ingenuity produce a Solar Powered Death Ray. Plus, fenders bend when the guys try to execute a perfect Power Slide.

After a three-month break, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? returned with new episodes on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 8-11pm ET/PT, as Science Channel premiered three back-to-back new episodes as part of the cable channel's "Outrageous Acts of Summer" Week. The three episodes are:

"Wet and Wild": In this special summer edition, Kevin and Grant tackle three audacious summer-themed projects. Can they make a 400-pound canoe float? Is it possible to stop a speeding car without using the brakes? Finally, the guys attempt a beer-related feat that will make your summer cookout the party of the season.

"Deadly Donuts of Fire": Kevin and Grant turn a blast of air into a massive ring of fire when they build a vortex cannon. They use magnets, superconductors, and quantum physics to send a levitating racer around a track. Not to mention, a frosty bulletproof glass mug to hold their beer.

"Summer of Speed": In this special summer edition, Kevin and Grant tackle three fast-and-furious summer-themed projects. How fast can a rocket skateboard travel? Can they build an adrenaline junkie's Slip'N Slide? And, what happens when you bring a motorcycle to a playground and create the world's scariest merry-go-round?
