Plot Synopsis

A family -- Judy, her Mom Gloria, and her daughter Kate -- manages an upscale consignment boutique near Chicago. Working together, this three-generation appraising team discovers the most immaculate vintage furniture, decorative accessories and other pieces of historic art that walks into their store. With quick wits and savvy business sense, these ladies barter, buy and sell these timeless treasures, but sometimes they get more than they bargained for. Judy opened the shop, The Perfect Thing, in 2003 and Kate joined her as a managing partner one year later. TLC first aired WHAT THE SELL? with two special back-to-back half-hour episodes on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 10pm ET.
