Plot Synopsis
WOMEN AT WAR takes place in 1914 France, as German troops advance and men leave for the frontlines; meanwhile, four women must grapple with the devastating consequences of war at home. Agnes finds her convent transformed into a war hospital. Marguerite seeks work at the local brothel. Caroline's brother-in-law sabotages her plans for the factory. Feminist nurse Suzanne flees to Switzerland with Jeanne's help. The entire eight-episode first season of WOMEN AT WAR dropped on Thursday, January 19, 2023 on Netflix.
