Plot Synopsis

ZOMBIEVERSE is a one-hour reality series that features contestants fighting for survival in Seoul, which has been turned into a zombie world. They survive by completing quests such as looking for food, transportation, or a safe haven; or deciding whether to save a colleague who has been infected by a zombie. The series kicks off with a virus breaking out on the set of a dating show, leading the castmates to their very first quest. The group encounters other survivors at a supermarket. But they quickly learn that danger looms from every aisle, as the zombies take their first victim. The survivors plan their dangerous escape from the supermarket. But panic ensues when a betrayal puts a teammate in harm's way. The art team from ALL OF US ARE DEAD and the zombie action choreographer from KINGDOM work behind the scenes to the zombie universe real. All eight episodes of ZOMBIEVERSE's first season dropped on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 on Netflix.

ZOMBIEVERSE 2: NEW BLOOD, the second season of the series, premiered on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 on Netflix, which released seven episodes. Fresh faces join a group of seasoned survivors as they navigate new quests and try to outsmart tougher adversaries on wilder quests. In the season opener, a new group of evacuees arrive on Jeju Island, the zombie-free safe haven. They've never faced zombies before, but their luck is about to run out.
