Plot Synopsis

Following the departure of Trevor Noah, THE DAILY SHOW continues with a series of guest hosts along with TDS correspondents and contributors. Weekly guest hosts include: Leslie Jones (Jan 17-19), Wanda Sykes (Jan 23-26), D.L. Hughley (Jan 30-Feb 2), Chelsea Handler (Feb 6-9), Sarah Silverman (Feb 13-16), John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, Al Franken, Kal Penn, and Marlon Wayans.

After a 5.5-month break, THE DAILY SHOW returned with new episodes on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. Michael Kosta guest hosts all week, followed by: Desus Nice (Oct 23-26); Charlamagne tha God (Oct 30-Nov 2); Sarah Silverman (Nov 6-9); Leslie Jones (Nov 13-16); The Daily Show News Team Takeover feat. Dulce Sloan & Ronny Chieng (Nov 20-22); Michelle Wolf (Nov 27-30).

Jon Stewart returns to host THE DAILY SHOW once weekly on Mondays, beginning Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central, with a simulcast on TV Land, MTV, MTV2, CMT, Paramount Network, Pop and Logo. Stewart will continue to host Mondays through the 2024 Election. Correspondents Desi Lydic, Michael Kosta, Ronny Chieng and Jordan Klepper will then host the other nights on a rotating basis.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11pm ET/8pm PT, Comedy Central premiered "Indecision 2024: Nothing We Can Do About It Now," a new live election results special hosted by Jon Stewart, who provides "analysis, commentary, interviews, and tips on surviving the post-election breakdown of society." Stewart is joined by three guests: Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and Lieutenant Governor of Michigan Garlin Gilchrist II.
