Plot Synopsis

Each New Year's Eve, host Steve Harvey and his co-host, Maria Menounos, are in the heart of New York City's Times Square, featuring musical performances and views of the Times Square Ball as it drops to ring in the new year.

In the first telecast in 2017 (to ring in 2018), Harvey and Menounos were joined by Jamie Foxx and Rob Riggle and surprise celebrity guests as well as some of the year's top music artists to kick off the New Year. Performers included Celine Dion, the Backstreet Boys, Andra Day, Maroon 5, Zac Brown Band, and Macklemore featuring Skylar Grey and Flo Rida. Plus, Neil Diamond leds the world's largest ever sing-a-long, belting out "Sweet Caroline."

Harvey returned to host FOX'S NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH STEVE HARVEY: LIVE FROM TIMES SQUARE, once again alongside Menounos, live on FOX on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 8-10pm ET/PT (tape) and from 11pm-12:30am ET (live)/PT (tape). The second annual live broadcast special, airing from the heart of New York City's famed Times Square, features performances by Sting, Robin Thicke, Florence + the Machine, Jason Aldean, Juanes, Why Don't We, and more. Plus, Ken Jeong, Kenan Thompson, and other surprise celebrity guests join Steve and Maria.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 8-10pm ET/PT (tape) and from 11pm-12:30am ET (live)/PT (tape), Steve Harvey returns to host FOX'S NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH STEVE HARVEY: LIVE FROM TIMES SQUARE, once again alongside Maria Menounos and with Rob Gronkowski as a first-time co-chost. The third annual live broadcast special, airing from the heart of New York City's famed Times Square, features performances by some of the year's top music artists to wrap up 2019 and kick off the New Year, including:

- headliner LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip, live from Times Square;

- a special performance by Village People, who will attempt to break the record for the world's largest "YMCA" dance;

- other musical performances by some of 2019's top artists, including Lauren Alaina, The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers, Florida Georgia Line, the Backstreet Boys, Tyga, and the Killers.

Additionally, the special will include celebrity cameo appearances by Gordon Ramsay, Will Arnett, Jenna Dewan and WWE Superstars, including Roman Reigns, who will participate in an exclusive WWE match.
