Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, this spinoff of THE FOSTERS follows Callie and Mariana as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles -- five years after THE FOSTERS ended -- as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge. After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it's cracked up to be. Faced with new neighbors, new challenges and, of course, new romances, the sisters must depend on one another to navigate the City of Angels. The sisters and best friends navigate love, sex, and the complicated relationships that come with living in a new city in their 20s.

The sophomore season of GOOD TROUBLE premiered on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on Freeform. In the new season, Callie and Mariana embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge. After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it's cracked up to be. In the season opener, "Percussions," the outcome of the Jamal Thompson case is decided, and Callie is forced to decide what she's willing to fight for. Mariana jumps into a new relationship but stumbles into a situation she wasn't prepared to face. Alice attempts to win Joey back, while Davia attempts to help Dennis. On Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT, Freeform debuted "Clapback," the winter premiere of GOOD TROUBLE. When Malika gets in trouble following the BLM disruption, Callie seeks help from an old friend. Meanwhile, Mariana deals with the "fixer" at work, Gael helps Davia with a music video, and Alice finds herself in a love triangle.

The third season of GOOD TROUBLE premiered on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform. The new season picks up as Callie moves back into the Coterie, Mariana feels torn between Raj and Evan, Malika prepares for her hearing after breaking Judge Wilson's restraining order, Davia and Dennis explore the future of their relationship, Gael looks to get back to his true passion, Alice takes her comedy to the next level, and Jamie wonders if he can ever forgive Callie for betraying him. After a three-month break, GOOD TROUBLE returned with new episodes on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT. In the summer premiere, "Knocked Down," Callie and Gael decide to give their relationship a shot. Meanwhile, Malika is blindsided by Isaac's news, Alice returns to the comedy program thanks to help from an unexpected source, and Dennis' return has Davia questioning everything.

Season 4 of GOOD TROUBLE premiered on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform, which continues to follows the residents of Downtown Los Angeles' The Coterie as they juggle career, love and the 20-something growing pains at a time in your life where your friends are your family. In the season opener, "Turn and Face the Strange," the Coterie Crew deals with the fallout of the Season 3 finale. Tommy Sung's trial comes to a close, and Callie needs to keep Kathleen from legal trouble. Malika processes Isaac's surprise return. Gael tries to keep Isabella in town. With the approval of the Fight Club Girls, Mariana meets with Evan. Alice is on the road, leaving Sumi as acting manager. Someone new moves into the Coterie. After a three-month break, GOOD TROUBLE returned with new episodes on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform. In the summer premiere, "What I Wouldn't Give for Love," Davia musters the courage to tell Dennis how she feels. Malika deals with Angelica seeing other people. Alice hires a new manager. The FCG throw a party to celebrate the launch of their app. Luca considers accepting Davia's offer of a home.

GOOD TROUBLE returned for its fifth season on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform. The roommates face their toughest obstacles yet as they're confronted with evolving relationship challenges and new career opportunities. Through highs and lows, romance and heartbreak, The Coterie crew lean on each other while they navigate the next stage of adulthood. In the season opener, "Shot in the Dark," the Coterie will be changed forever after Mariana, Evan, and Joaquin attempt to escape Silas's farm; Davia and Dennis revel in the honeymoon phase of their new relationship; Sumi helps Alice find a new gig. On Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT, Freeform premiered "I Am Doll Parts," the mid-season debut of GOOD TROUBLE. Mariana's stress hits a breaking point. Malika welcomes Isaac to the Coterie. Dennis reels after Ranjit's betrayal, leading Davia and Alice to put their heads together.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 9:30-11pm ET/PT, Freeform premiered "What Now?," the series finale of GOOD TROUBLE. The Coterie crew says farewell as everyone takes control of their futures. A final piece of evidence against Silas is revealed as Mariana decides about her future with Evan and Joaquin.
