Plot Synopsis

Wolves, tigers, lions and leopards have fearsome reputations, and Scottish filmmaker Gordon Buchanan travels around the world to track maneating animals and investigate why some predators suddenly develop a taste for human prey. In each one-hour episode, Buchanan searches for a different animal, including: an elusive lion that killed 40 people in Tanzania; leopards in Mumbai, India, where something turned these animals into maneaters; a tigress, which has earned a reputation as a serial killer in Nepal; and the animal that was part of the second fatal wolf attack in America's history. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 9pm ET.
