Plot Synopsis
After six rounds of fan voting and hundreds of millions of votes, Fuse counts down the 40 hottest videos of 2013 over two, 120-minute episodes, premiering at 7pm & 9pm ET/PT on Saturday, December 7. For the first round, Fuse selected 40 songs, and fans voted for their favorite song amongst 20 pairs. The 20 winning songs advanced to Round 2, where fans voted for their fave for each of 10 different song pairs. The 10 winning songs advanced and fuse selected six wildcard songs -- Rihanna "Stay" & Lady Gaga "Applause" & Kanye West "Blkkk Skkkn Head" & Ciara "Body Part," which were ousted in Round 1, and Selena Gomez "Come & Get It" & Britney Spears "Work Bitch," both losing in the previous round -- which were the six songs receiving the most votes of those eliminated in the first two rounds. Fans voted for their fave song amongst eight pairs in Round 3 and four pairs in the fourth round, with these four songs winning: Britney Spears "Work Bitch" beating out Demi Lovato "Heart Attack"; Katy Perry "Roar" besting Imagine Dragons "Radioactive"; Eminem "Berzerk" beating up on Chris Brown "Fine China"; and Rihanna "Stay" getting more votes than Kendrick Lamar "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe." In the penultimate round of voting, fans selected Eminem "Berzerk" over Britney Spears "Work Bitch" and Katy Perry "Roar" over Rihanna "Stay." Fan voting continued in Round 6, a blind-vote round, during which online voters could no longer see how many votes each song/artist received; the winner was revealed in this countdown.
