Plot Synopsis

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM, the second season of AHS, takes place in a different setting and with different characters than the first season. AHS: ASYLUM is set in 1964 at Briarcliff Manor, a notorious insane asylum that is home to deranged serial killer Bloody Face, where this Church-run facility is ruled with an iron fist by Sister Jude, a nun with a troubled past. Built in 1908, Briarcliff "was once the largest tuberculosis ward on the East Coast; 46,000 people died here," according to one of the show's characters, and now it's filled with danger and horror lurking around every corner.
